Saturday, June 10th the Lake Stevens Valkyries visited Stanwood on their turf and took home the WIN 30-8 with a 2-0 lead for the season.
This amazing group of extraordinary moms who decided to get together and play football, whether it be for the first year or 5+ years, with the help of our coaches have put in so much work this season and it shows! The Valkyries put it all on that field and defeated Stanwood for the second time and last time this season. As always, the Valkyries stayed classy and played by the book.
Our stands, sidelines and viewers from afar couldn't contain their excitement! Many voices were lost by the end of that game. Our O-line contained, our Defense defended and our Offense gained yards! We had touchdowns scored by Demarie Howard 14, Krissa Bennett 32, Raquel Sauceda 20 and Jazmine Gutierrez 33 with Extra points made by Lisa Carl 89!
